This function exports steelwork data from SolidWorks to a third party applicationsuch as STAAD PRO, SPACEGASS and RISA 3D for analysis natively as a STAADPRO or RISA 3D File. SPACEGASS is an excel export.

 

A mapping file is used for exporting and importing Steelwork section data from SolidWorks with The Steel Detailer.

 

If there are no sections in your mapping file, you will need to add them.
