The New Connection Function is used to create a new connection with a dummy part containing the selected member sections in the part, excluded from the bill of materials along with the member sketches related to the selected sections driving sketch. The process automates the filing and insertion of the connection.

The first step is to select the Connection Type Filter you going to use. This is used in the filename of the connection.

The Next Step is to select the intersection Point or insertion point for the connection.

The Next Step is to select the Sections to create in the dummy part. The First selection is where the connection is to be inserted.

● Using this function on the Menu Bar click TSDConnections as shown below, then select the  Icon.

                                                                       ● Alternately use the  button located on the Command Manager Tool Bar under TSDConnections tab as shown below.
